About
Defected Malta 2026 returns to the Mediterranean for an expansive four-day, four-venue destination festival from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4, 2026. This multi-venue label showcase takes over the island across iconic destinations: the luxury open-air beach club Café del Mar, the massive multi-room facility Uno Malta, the atmospheric Valletta Ditch, and the historic coastal Fort St Elmo. The alphabetical programming brings together a legendary tier of foundational house, tech house, garage, and disco pioneers. Heavyweight curators anchoring the brand takeovers include Green Velvet, Hot Since 82, and Kevin Saunderson, alongside exclusive live configurations such as Oden & Fatzo Live, a specialized Skream Disco Set, and 'The Ritual' pairing Anané with Louie Vega. Spread across bespoke sub-imprints including Glitterbox, Faith, and the primary Defected imprint, this 18+ island takeover pairs elite electronic sound engineering with custom boat excursions and crystal-clear seaside dance spaces.
