a) Account & Authentication Information

When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:

• Username
• Profile picture
• Date of birth
• City and country
• Instagram, Tiktok profile
• Short bio
• User's location (to show festivals nearby)

User authentication and identity management are handled by Auth0, a third-party authentication provider.

Festiveo does not store or process your passwords directly.

Auth0 processes authentication data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and security standards.

b) Music & Preference Data

• Artists, genres, and festivals you add manually
• Music-related data imported from Apple Music, only if you explicitly connect Apple Music and grant permission via Apple's official authorization flow

We do not access your Apple Music credentials or private listening history beyond the permissions you approve.

c) Usage & Analytics Data

We collect limited usage data to understand how the App is used, such as:

• Feature interactions
• Screens viewed
• App performance and crashes

This data is used to improve stability and user experience.

d) Public Profile Information

If you choose to make your profile visible, other users may see:

• Favorite artists and genres
• Festivals you plan to attend
• Your city and country

Your friends can see this information by default. You can change visibility settings in the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Showing personalized festivals nearby
• Personalize festival and artist recommendations, including based in your city and country
• Notify you about festivals related to your favorite artists
• Show social features (e.g. festivals your friends are attending)
• Improve App functionality, performance, and design

We may also use aggregated and anonymized data for analytics and research purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share limited data with trusted third parties only when necessary to operate the App, including:

• Authentication services (Auth0)
• Analytics providers (e.g. Mixpanel)
• Error and crash reporting services (e.g. Sentry)

Shared data never includes passwords or private Apple Music credentials.

4. Third-Party Services & Links

Festiveo relies on third-party services to provide core functionality, including authentication and analytics.

The App may also contain links to third-party services such as ticketing platforms or festival websites.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party services.

We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

You may delete your account at any time.

Once deleted, your profile and associated personal data are removed from our active systems, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Delete your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent where applicable

You can manage most data directly in the App or contact us to request assistance.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Authentication is handled by Auth0 using industry-standard security practices.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Festiveo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date, and the latest version will always be available in the App settings.
