About

Billed as the 'largest HBCU fundraiser in history,' the inaugural HBCU AWAREFEST is a massive collaboration between Live Nation Urban and the Student Freedom Initiative. The event aims to tackle the student loan debt crisis for HBCU graduates, with all proceeds supporting debt reduction programs. Beyond the heavy-hitting musical lineup, the night features appearances by cultural icons like Robert F. Smith, Chris Paul, and Angel Reese. It’s a unique hybrid of high-energy arena concert and a mission-driven call to action for economic mobility.
